And we're back to real time in the story.
I know that when you read something at a page a week, a 4 page recap/flashback takes a whole month and can get a bit old (especially for any reader who might have been following the story before it went on a year long hiatus) However, the hard reality of comics (at least for the creators) is that the pages take very little time to read, and thus, for the final work, I think the pacing will work well. (Won't know for certain till we've got all of chapter 2)
Anyway, we get to the punch-line of Gwen's musings. Originally I was thinking of having the intro be more of a homage to Frankenstein with the punch-line being about the monster betraying his creator, but this works more for the tone for the next chapter.
I like how Maciek used the lighting around Owen in the first panel. And I think I might need to make a button out of the chibi Gwen in the thought bubble.
As of Saturday night, Maciek's still finishing up on final pencils for page 6. Hopefully he'll be able to finish up with his work related obligations as to be able to spend a good chunk of Sunday on inks. Word bubbles will be a bit trickier too, as we've gotten back to having to fit dialog. Wish us luck.
