Back from Acen

Postby kim » Wed May 19, 2004 7:49 pm

Hey there,

So, usual post con post, we had a great time at Anime Central. Spent most of our time behind at our table in the artist alley. We sold 29 Zines, just enough to make up copy costs. We'll be bringing them to Anime Iowa and Anime Reactor this fall.

Met and chatted with lots of artists. Handed out tons of business cards. Did a panel that was very well attended. And now have lots of ideas for the next con.

Okay, now to get back to work producing comics.

Thanks for the pizza!

It was really cool meeting you people at ACen. I was the guy pitching Psychedelic Avatar cards at the other table near the door you shared the pizza with.

We'll probably be back next year but have a better set up with widder tables so the artists can actually draw on them.

I hope you guys will be there next year too. Keep up the creativity!

Yeah, Saturday-night pizza delivered for the starving and time-crunched denizens of the Artist Alley was a good idea - and I'm glad it was enjoyed by all.

So, here's to hoping for more and even better Artist Alleys in future conventions!

Acen, the artist alley, "...the Horror..."

Postby Eli » Wed May 26, 2004 2:50 pm

Hey hey it's Eli, just wanted to stay in touch after seeing you guys again. Read through the zine and you guys have some great stuff as always!

It's great to see some other folks with ambition out there in the 'pro-am' art community! I wanna get back into the artist alley swing soon, but I need work to distribute first ^_^. Anyway, working on some more stuff for PG now, but I'll be in contact!

Oh, as for the horror... wow those tables must've been a real joy to work with

Anyway kudos as always, keep up the fight!
