So, Ray and I have come up with a way to be creative, and collaborative, and hopefully have fun. Pervasive Affect (working name) is a collaborative story that Ray and I will be passing back and forth. The plan is for us to write 1000 - 2000 words each pass. In addition, the person who's turn it is will be able to post a note (this is about 500 words and relates to a single aspect - technology, culture, character, etc) of the story.

The story itself will be sf, with as many interesting ideas that Ray can cram into it, and with as many character conflicts that I can. I know I had a blast working on DnT concepts and plots with Ray and I think this will be a very interesting world. We'll see how it comes together as a story.

If you want to read this a pure story, I suggest you read only the "Section" posts. We may at some point compile several sections (perhaps with some editing) into a longer story post, we'll see. Reading the various note and other posts will give you an interesting feel for how the story is coming together and how we work as a team.
